About our farm
At StudeBAKER Farms, we are dedicated to providing fresh, wholesome food cultivated with love. Our Yeastwood Original sourdough is crafted with just four ingredients and a mature starter, affectionately named Clint Yeastwood, which has been thriving for over a decade and is the secret to our delicious breads.
We treat our animals as cherished creations, ensuring they are nourished with fresh local water and the finest forages and feeds.
Our Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats are carefully selected for their rich milk production, and each year we handpick the best females to maintain our lineage. We also choose each chicken breed for their uniquely colored eggs and overall health. hens are allowed to go broody, raising chicks annually, which is a joy to witness as they grow and begin to lay within a year!
Our fresh produce is cultivated by hand, with a strong focus on soil quality and seed selection. We use only heirloom varieties, prized for their resilience and flavor, and enrich our soil each year with our homemade compost and other nutrients.

The Studebaker House Car
We technically have a 1928 Studebaker Coupe, that has been modified in the 60's to be a House Car.
Although Studebaker never originally produced motorhomes, the House Car stands as a unique blend of historical craftsmanship and modern functionality. It remains a remarkable example of automotive innovation and design history.

We are documenting the entire rebuild process, taking the house car from yard art to a functioning Farm Stand. You can watch the videos on our main YouTube channel:

Meaning of the Studebaker Surname
The name Studebaker is an altered form of the German Studebäcker or Stutenbecker, an occupational surname meaning “baker.” It derives from the Middle Low German words stute, meaning “fine white bread,” and becker, meaning “baker.”
